4th Open Day Event

We took part in the open day event held in Algeria for the 4th time this year. The main topics of the event are mines, quarries and public tenders, together with emerging mining technologies and the future of the sector. The event will take place on 8 - 9 April 2026 at the Marriott Hotel Constantine.

The official name of the event is Journées Portes Ouvertes; its scope covers mines, quarries, cement plants and public works together.

The format works differently from a fair.

Instead of an exhibition floor there is a programme built around presentations and one-to-one meetings; that means the person in front of you is most often a quarry operator or a contractor preparing for a public tender.

The choice of Constantine is no accident either: limestone quarries and cement plants are concentrated in eastern Algeria, so crushing and screening demand gathers regionally here.
