We Completed the 33rd BUDMA International Construction and Architecture Fair

We met our customers at the BUDMA International Construction and Architecture Fair, held in Poland for the 33rd time this year. At the event at the Poznan International Fair Grounds we presented many of our plants and machines, above all our 2025 model crushing plants and concrete batching plants.

The most discussed topic throughout the fair was energy consumption. Because the cost of electricity has become a decisive item in the operating expenses of a crushing line in Europe, buyers ask directly about the kilowatt-hours spent per tonne.

That is a question which affects how the stages are arranged.

Trying to reduce material heavily in a single step raises energy consumption; splitting the crushing into stages lowers total consumption but increases the investment cost. The balance is struck according to the annual tonnage of the quarry.

The second topic was recycling: as aggregate production from demolition waste spreads in Europe, what is expected from a line is the ability to process concrete and brick alongside natural stone.
