Abidjan Fair Wrapped Up: Ivory Coast and the West African Market

The Abidjan fair in Ivory Coast, one of the stops in our stone crushing and screening work across the African continent, has come to an end. Throughout the fair we introduced visitors to machines built with the latest technology, welcomed existing customers at our stand and had the chance to meet new ones.

Abidjan is among the cities where West African trade is most concentrated. That is why the fair's visitors are not limited to Ivory Coast; people from Burkina Faso, Mali, Togo and Ghana also walk the aisles.

In short, one fair lets you meet several markets at the same time.

The expectations of these markets also diverge. Coastal countries focus on port and housing projects, while inland it is mining sites and road construction that set the tone; the same line is chosen for different reasons from one country to the next.

What ties them all together is service. Before asking about a machine's technical figures, visitors want to know how long it takes for a spare part to reach the region.
