New GNR PDK01 Primary Impact Crusher Manufacturing

The GNR PDK01 primary impact crusher has been manufactured for a stationary crusher plant to be installed in Novi Pazar - Serbia. It has an average capacity of 250 - 500 tonnes / hour on the stated stone and mineral materials.

The advantage of an impact primary in limestone is that it delivers a high reduction in a single stage. Because run-of-mine material is reduced considerably in one step, the following stages can be sized more lightly.

The limit is drawn by the abrasiveness of the material.

In abrasive rock the impact elements wear out quickly and the cost of wear parts cancels out the crushing advantage. That is why the crusher type decision cannot be made before the quarry analysis.

Being manufactured for a stationary plant also affects the design: with no concern for mobility, body weight is unconstrained, which is an advantage in terms of vibration control and rotor balance. When vibration is transferred to the ground, the fatigue load on the body is reduced as well.
