Request Quote

The fine material screen is a linear vibrating screen with two counter-rotating vibromotors, used specifically to screen fine material down to 600 microns. Capacity is 5-10 tph and the screen has 5 decks. Manufacture is CE-marked and ISO 9001; the unit takes up little space for its capacity.

Separation at micron level

The two counter-rotating vibromotors run so that the horizontal force components cancel while the vertical components sum. The result is a straight-line (linear) trajectory on the deck:

  • High frequency and a short stroke suit fine screening; the linear motion drives the fine grain forward.
  • The blinding and static-adhesion risk, high in the fine range, is reduced by the high-frequency linear motion.
  • Five decks produce several fine fractions at once.

Industrial use

The fine material screen is used in fine sand, micronised/powder classification and fine-fraction production for the chemical and building-materials industries. It also serves as a complementary unit for separating fine sand in a sand-recovery line, suited to classifying the fine sand from a fine material screw washer discharge.

Process line

As the final quality stage of production, the fine material screen runs on the same line as dewatering and washing equipment. General Makina designs the 600-micron cut together with spiral/bucket washers and a dewatering screen; production under CE and ISO 9001 delivers fine-fraction recovery under one responsibility.

Frequently Asked Questions

How fine does it screen?

The fine material screen separates down to 600 microns (about 30 mesh). Apertures are set to order according to the application.

What are the capacity and deck count?

Capacity is 5-10 tph and the screen has 5 decks; five decks produce several fine fractions at once.

Which certificates does it hold?

The fine material screen is CE-marked and manufactured under an ISO 9001 quality system; these are verifiable conformity and quality signals.

What is the vibration type?

Two counter-rotating vibromotors produce linear vibration; in fine screening this reduces blinding and static adhesion.

How do I get pricing and delivery?

Send General Makina the material, target fine cut and capacity; a project-specific configuration, price and delivery time are provided as a quotation.
