The conventional vibrating screen separates crushed material into the required sizes at every riverbed and quarry plant; it is a 1-4 deck, circular-motion screen. Capacity ranges from 100-400 tph and the model range runs from GNR 1020 (1000×2000 mm) to GNR 2470 (2400×7000 mm). A fully bolted, weldless body, easily replaceable screen media and wear-delaying Stone-box feed boxes keep operating cost low.

How it works

An eccentric-shaft drive gives the screen body a circular vibration path. On the inclined deck the material stratifies: fine grains sink to the bottom of the bed and pass through the aperture, while oversize travels over the deck and discharges.

  • Slope is typically 15-30°; a steeper slope raises capacity but reduces the effective aperture.
  • Each successive deck reduces capacity by roughly 10%.
  • Near-size grains (75-125% of the aperture) lower efficiency; commercial screening efficiency is 90-95%.

Deck count is 1-4 (single deck only on small models). Mesh apertures are set to order according to the output gradation; capacity depends on material gradation, moisture and whether screening is wet or dry.

Applications

Sizing of crushed aggregate, sand-and-gravel classification, concrete-aggregate separation; in both stationary and mobile plants. The circular-motion conventional screen is ideal for dry, clean sand and gravel; for clayey or wet material a washing screen or a top-driven elliptical screen is preferred.

Complete plant solution

General Makina supplies the crushing-screening-washing line together with a concrete batching plant from a single supplier. The conventional vibrating screen can be engineered as one integrated line with jaw/impact crushers, screw washers and a batching plant — one point of contact, one accountable party and a matched spare-parts chain.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many decks does a conventional vibrating screen have?

It is built with 1-4 decks; single deck only on small models. More decks yield more product fractions, but each successive deck reduces capacity by about 10%.

What is its capacity?

Depending on model and material it ranges from 100-400 tph. Capacity varies with material gradation, moisture and whether screening is wet or dry.

Is the body welded?

No. The body is fully bolted and weldless; this construction prevents crack formation under vibration and eases maintenance.

Is replacing the screen media difficult?

No. The screen media is designed for easy replacement, and wear-delaying Stone-box feed boxes reduce service frequency.

How do I get pricing and delivery?

Send General Makina your target capacity, material type and required output fractions; model selection, price and delivery time are provided as a project-specific quotation.
