Explicit Consent for Marketing and Commercial Electronic Messages

With this statement you agree that your personal data may be processed for advertising, campaign, promotion and marketing purposes, shared with business partners for that purpose only, and that commercial electronic messages may be sent to you. The consent covers marketing only and can be withdrawn free of charge at any time.

I agree that my personal data may be processed by General Makina for the purpose of running advertising, campaign and promotion activities and marketing processes for its products and services, and that, strictly limited to this purpose, it may be transferred to General Makina's relevant business partners. I also accept that commercial electronic messages may be sent to me so that promotional and marketing announcements and information can be shared with me.

What Does the Consent Cover?

This explicit consent is given solely for marketing and promotional activities. Responding to quotation requests, entering into and performing a contract, after-sales technical support and keeping invoice and accounting records are based on the other processing conditions listed in Article 5 of Law No. 6698 (KVKK). Your consent is not required for these activities, and withdrawing it does not bring them to an end.

Which Data Is Processed?

Identity and contact data: name and surname, company name, e-mail address, phone number, country and city.
Request-related data: the product group you are interested in, your capacity requirement and the message you send us.
Electronic message data: records of sending, delivery and opening of our messages.

Who Receives the Data?

Strictly for the purpose stated above, your data may be shared with service providers running our e-mail delivery infrastructure, with our authorised dealers and business partners, and, where your request relates to a particular region, with our representative there. If data must be transferred abroad, the conditions of Article 9 of the Law are complied with.

How Long Is the Data Kept?

Data processed for marketing purposes is kept until you withdraw your consent. After withdrawal, only the consent and opt-out records are retained, as required by our burden of proof.

Withdrawing Consent and Your Rights

You can withdraw your consent whenever you wish, at no cost. Simply use the unsubscribe link in our messages or write to us via our contact page. Under Article 11 of the Law, you also have the right to find out whether your data is processed, to ask for it to be corrected or erased, and to request that these actions be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred. Applications are concluded within 30 days at the latest.
