Vibrating Rock Bunker Order Completed

Production of the vibrating rock bunker feed hopper has been completed. Our bunker has a capacity of 500 tonnes per hour. Our General Makina vibrating rock bunker feed hopper runs with 2 motors of 9.2 kW.

The bunker is the entrance gate of the line. It takes the feed material tipped by the truck and passes it to the crusher at a steady rate; without that steadiness, every stage behind it runs unevenly.

Being vibrating is what provides that steadiness.

In a static hopper the material can bridge and block; vibration keeps it flowing under its own weight, so the feed is not interrupted even with damp or clayey feed material.

The 500 tonne capacity is a figure chosen higher than the line itself: since the bunker also acts as an intermediate store, it prevents the crusher from running out of feed when no truck arrives. Bunker capacity is therefore selected not according to the hourly throughput of the line but according to the gaps between truck arrivals.
