Big 5 Construct Nigeria: Our New-Generation Plants in Lagos, Gateway to West Africa

We have set up our stand at the Big 5 Construct Nigeria fair in Nigeria. Throughout 27-29 September visitors can get to know our new generation of rock crushing-screening lines and concrete batching units at the stand.

The event's official name is Big 5 Construct Nigeria. It is organised by dmg events and hosted at the Landmark Centre in Lagos, and the fair takes place once every year.

Lagos serves as the gateway to the West African market.

In this market, where port and urban infrastructure are expanding together, aggregate demand is fed by both road projects and housing construction. Since most of the equipment entering the country passes through this gateway, transport and customs planning naturally becomes part of the sales process.

The question we hear most often at our stand is whether the line can be split into sections. Plants that can travel in containers and be erected on site by making the connections simplify the logistics stretching from port to site.

At the stand we also answer questions about shipping schedules and how the units are prepared for sea freight, since these details ultimately decide when the line starts producing on site.
